Wells Poultry came into existence when Louise was given 2 chickens as a birthday present ( Everyone has one of Aunts that gives somewhat unusual gifts) which needed a home. Very quickly the first “Wells Poultry” chicken house was built and as most chicken keepers know, 2 quickly become a flock of 6 hen which soon become 12. All requiring chicken coops
We quickly grew from using the corner of the garage to using the whole garden. Within a year we had moved house, primarily to have more room for the chickens and the growing business. But this was still not enough space and we quickly moved to the first of our industrial units, rapidly followed by a second unit dedicated to build our chicken coops and runs leaving the first for our mail order department.
We now confidently boost that we have one of the largest ranges of poultry supplies and equipment supplying everything from a single leg ring to chicken feeders up to our large walk in chicken coop and run.
Since Wells Poultry (Wales) Ltd ceased trading the website has been purchased by Green Valley Poultry Supplies. The chicken coops continue to to be build to the original Wells Poultry housing designs and standards by the existing staff who have many years experience of building these.
