Up for grabs in our latest draw is Smite Liquid and Smite Powder mite treatments
We’re offering our Facebook fans the chance to win some essential mite treatments from Smite. The liquid will clean away mites from their hiding places, washing away their protective 
coating so they shrivel and die. It is also a great general purpose cleaner that will clean your coop and poultry equipment. Smite powder is Diatomaceous Earth which is proven to have an adverse effect on mites as they travel across it, causing cuts and abrasions that cause them to dehydrated and die. it can be used as a powder and sprinkled across the floor paying special attention to corners and any other dark place that mites like to hid in. It can also be mixed with water and sprayed with a garden pressure spray. Once the water dries the surface is left with a fine film of diatom across it. A drop of washing up liquid in the mix will help to keep the diatom in suspension.
