Very effective, quick and easy to use We had red mite and it had got out of hand before I realised. Sadly lost one chicken. This product works well, along with thorough washing and it's easy to spray the odd one or two remaining mites. Expensive if you have a big chicken house but one tin was enough for my ark. Did the trick I was in despair after trying scrubbing out the henhouse, powdering the straw, powdering the hens time after time when there was a very bad infestation, but reluctant to use anything too chemically. However, I did eventually purchase a can of this, and one good spraying got rid of them. Jenny -
This worked brilliantly! We had a heavy infestation and had already tried two different products recommended to us but they had no effect. This aerosol solved the problem immediately. -
Kills everything Seems to kill anything - so be careful where you spray it. It's also expensive. -
Effective as a last resort Have used this a couple of times when red mite has got out of control in our hen house. It is best to do two applications a few days apart and you really do need a couple of cans so it works out expensive. However, I think it's worth it as it is the only really effective treatment I have found. Louise - Cambridgeshire
no sign of the mites We used this as a quick knock down when we found red mite in the house. It seemed to kill everything that it contacted - there were loads that dropped to the floor. Since then we're planned a bit better and used diatom and poultry shield as part of our cleaning scheme which a cheaper method. dave - Birmingham
