Good Results - Worth the purchase I sprayed this on my 5 ex-bat chickens who were quite serious feather peckers. Only used it once & it worked really well.I still have 1 who persists slightly(I'm told some ex-bats never lose the habit) but overall I'm happy with the result. Smells to high heaven and rubs off on hands so wear gloves! Kate - Nottinghamshire
Brilliant Product After applying stockholm tar, I sprayed the area just below the "kissing lips" where the eggs come out after two of my chickens suffered really bad injuries after pecking each other. This product is a must to prevent them cannabalising each other as they hate the smell which is foul. Gary Walters - Bedfordshire
Scarper Seems to have worked well, quick delivery too. -
Does help to prevent pecking, particularly on wounds. Great product -
Scarper Although very smelly this really didn't make much difference to my pecking problem.. I wa asking a lot though. I had one chicken that was being pecked by the reat of my flock. I have now given that chicken away and peace has been restored. Christine - Kent, UK
a very good product my sone recommended us to use this product to stop the chicken from pecking the feather. Just used it once, but it has already shown a good result. -
Smelly but hopefully effective. I found the spray quite thin and therefore wasn't sure if I had covered the skin sufficiently. But I am waiting to see if the feathers regrow and are left alone. I don't know how long feathers take to reappear so can't tell if it has been effective yet. -
scarper anti peck spray smells like crazy but seems to have done the trick. Needs to be reapplied about once or twice a week -
Pecking - sorted Unbelievable - 2 news hens in with two old; one young new entrant moderately badly pecked. Water and shouting didn't sort!! But spray did - after just 24 hours. Generally I'm not a believer in these sort of things , but this appeared to work big time!!! Thanks John - Devon, UK
Scarper Works a treat! The hens avoided each other like the plague and stopped squabbling immediately. Not surprising really, the stuff stinks to high heaven! It's like creosote for chickens! skydog - Leeds
