Eton Grit Hopper
Poultry need a supply of grit to enable them to digest food effectively. If they free range for much of the time they should find enough naturally but if they are kept in a run they may benefit from an additional supply.

Good Hopper but not for outside use This is a sturdy hopper but we fixed it to an outside wall for our free range hens. Unfortunately due to its design it fills with water so we have now had to fit a shelter around it. when in the dry it works well and unlike others the cock birds with their larger combs do not get their caught in i (22/01/2016) Mary - Devon
Eton feed / Grit Hopper Absolutely great! No more wasted food. We have one in each house. New house going up, so could be getting another! (08/05/2014) Ruth Bodely - West Huntspill
Ideal Gritter Hopper This is a well made gritter hopper which hold plenty of grit should your hens require access to it. I've mounted mine on an inner wall in my run which was simple enough to do - keeps it clean and frees up floor area. Lid tilts fully back to allow easy fill/top up. Glad I went for this product. A good product another good product strong and well made. (10/12/2013) -
Good for pellets too I'm using two of these, one for grit and one for pellets. They mount on the wall and stop and muck getting kicked in to the food. Hold a good amount of feed as well. Oddly cheaper from Wells via ebay than directly here for some reason! (08/11/2011) -
Excellent Product a really good size and can be used for other feed too! (28/10/2011) -
Good value for money - easy to fit & use I searched a long time for a reasonably-priced galvanised hopper & am pleased with this purchase. Easy to fit. Good lid access. Hens used immediately. Only thing I didn't like was the sharp bottom corners but I filed these rounder. Am using for pellets & intend to buy a second one. (09/12/2010) -
An effective Grit hopper An apparently effective hopper, although my chickens do not use it much, as they are outside on an earth floor. (30/12/2009) Major I Dalzel Job - Rosyth Fife
