Egg Wash Machines & Detergents
How to wash eggsWhat's the best way to clean eggs?Ideally you shouldn't wash eggs unless you really need to as when they are laid there is a natural coating on the egg to protect it. This keeps the porous shell sealed to bacteria. Once washed this coating is removed and the eggs will have a shorter shell life.If you have a small back garden flock often the easiest way is to simply brush any dirty from the shell prior to use but if you'd prefer to wash them then use a bowl of luke warm water and some egg wash detergent. If you have commercial quanitites to clean then an egg washer is the quickest way. We have these in both 100 and 200 egg capacities. We supply both liquid and powder egg wash detergents |
