Wednesday was a busy day – 2 chicken runs to put up.

Second Job of the day was a 9×15′ chicken run
This chicken run was to house an existing coop and replace the existing house and run seen to the left. The roofed run will keep the run much drier and the base plinth will allow the deep litter method to be used.
We also raised the house on a couple of timbers so the chickens had the full size of the run floor to use. This is quite simply to do, only takes a couple of minutes and a couple of lengths of timber.
