VSBb-SA Automatic Door Opener Easy to Fit - supplied with full instructions and installation diagrams 3 Year Warranty Free Telephone support Specifically designed for ducks as they don't normally put themselves away. With this unit you can manually shut the door before night fall, or with the timer shut it after dark. To operate the override simply hold the magnet against the red dot on the case until the door is shut. It has a lifting capacity of 3 kg and 60 cm, or if used with a pulley 6 kg and 30 cm. With a lightweight door such as our hen door battery life can be up to 4 years.

Well worth it. It may seem an expensive luxury at first, but having an automatic door means we no longer have to watch the time and rush back to lock the birds away. Cons..The magnet is very small, black and easily lost in the grass, it should come inside a tube or something easily found. - Herefordshire

Fantastic! This is my third VSB so I obviously love them. The last two have been the VSBb-SA. I love the option to close it at will. It makes putting the ducks in a breeze. They are a snap to set up on a pulley system to open and close two night pens at once. I glued the magnets to a strings for convenience. 1-Duckling - Eagle Creek, Oregon

Super, Smashing, Great. The VSBb is a truly brilliant piece of kit which allows chook keepers some independence, without compromising their welfare. The magnet on this variant; the VSBb-SA is fiddly however and seems cheap. It should be a switch which may allow more than just a single use. Not worth the extra money. Nick Munday - East Yorkshire
EXCELLENT PRODUCT. DOES THE JOB. HAD NO PROBLEMS SETTING UP THE AUTO DOOR OPENER FOR MY COOP/RUN. IN FACT IT OPENS AND SHUTS THE COOP POP-HOLE AND AT THE SAME TIME THE RUN DOOR WHERE I FITTED THE DUCK DOOR. Automatic door opener/closer The unit is of excellent quality, and, once set up operates very well. The printed instructions could be much better. I would have appreciated clearer information on setup and on how to override the unit, and some clue what the magnet was for, rather than having to figure it out by trial and error. Electronic Door Opener Brilliant little unit, works a treat - although I also had exactly the same problem as the previous reviewer of not knowing how to over ride the sensor. But I also made a quick call and this all became clear and now fully working. Matt -
