This is the basic unit that will open at dawn and shut at night fall. It has a lifting capacity of 3 kg and 60 cm, or if used with a pulley 6 kg and 30 cm. With a lightweight door such as our hen door battery life can be up to 4 years.

No more disturbed sleep! If you've got chickens you must have one of these. The light sensor works perfectly, enabling your chickens to be out early in the summer and never closes before they choose to roost. A must have product! David -
I don't have to stay up to put the hens to bed! We were due to go away and although a neighbour would come and feed the hens we couldn't expect them to come early morning to let them out and late evening (10pm!) to shut them in at dusk. No early mornings or late nights now Located in the highlands it gets light approx 0400 and dark at approx 2300 hrs.With the opener and timer set at opening 0600 and closing 2300 the 9 hens are happy and so are we !! Isobel Mackinlay - Perthshire
