Assembly Instructions These are the drinkers I use for my own birds. They can be simply connected to a water tank. I use a 200litre garden water butt feeding a rigid pipe but i've also used them fed from a plastic storage box with the pipe pushed into a hole drilled near the bottom.
They are supplied with 3m of 8mm hose , 3m of cord to hang them from and all the other connectors etc to join them to a 20mm or 3/4" pipe.
We recommend allowing 500ml of water / hen / day in the height of summer, less in cooler weather.

Works well and easy to install and adjust Works a treat. For supply, I used a 4 gallon header tank with lid (as used for central heating systems), tank connector, short length of 15mm pipe and a stop end. Drilled hole in side of pipe to fit the supplied connector. Tank only 4ft from ground (not 8-12 as instructions) but works perfectly. Tom Knott - Tyneside

Very good item reasonably priced Had been looking for something similar for ages until i found this. Very pleased and works very well. Can be a little tricky to connect up to the water source as only one type of fitting supplied but otherwise excellent especially for the low price! -
Easy to use Simple and well though out design. Getting the water level adjustment right can be a bit tedious, but works well once set up. -
GOOD LABOUR SAVING DEVICE We use with 2 and 5 gallon water containers as header tanks. Filters are easily removed for cleaning. Do this every 2 months to avoid problems. The only downside is that they will not work in freezing conditions. Then we revert to warm water in standard drinkers. CHICKEN BOB - DORSET
The easiest auto chicken drinker to use really easy to plumb and set up. Needs a wipe every so often but noother maintanance john - wales
