It's a pity all feeders/drinkers don't have these sA necessary buy, as without these legs the chooks manage to fill the drinking trough with anything they can scratch up. These feet are great at keeping the water high enough to stop the chickens messing in it, as they are prone to do. Although they can still easily drink. Wells' comment on other review is spot on, they do need to be VERY firmly pushed into position until they 'snap' on. (19/07/2010) Paul - Bromley
