Coxoid 500 ml

Coxoid is a water soluble treatment for coccidiosis added to the drinking water for 7 days. Coxoid is available in 112ml and 500ml Contains Amprolium Hydrochloride 3.84% w/v Intended for use with pigeons.

We recommend you also treat the ground with Bi-OO-cyst to reduce the risk of re infection.

This veterinary medicine is marketed in accordance with the Small Animal Exemption Scheme which covers small domestic pets not intended for food use.

As such we are unable to advise on it's use for other animals such as chickens as we don't hold the relevant qualification to prescribe medicine for animals. To do so would be a breach of VMD rules. We advise seeking advise from a qualified vet before using it on poultry.

It worked I recognised the signs of coccidiosis in one or two of my toddler group of Brahma and Orpington chicks. Hunched up, and blood in their droppings.
