does the job, is a bit flimsy product will do the job, however do not screw the lamp too hard into the holder as the metal parts are very thin and easily damaged. (03/10/2011) -
Excellent Quality Product (14/12/2010) -
Better than plastic ones These do the job very well. A couple of tips - I wound a piece of PTFE plumbing tape over the threaded portion - it helps the ceramic scrwe better. Also had to bend the centre connection up slightly to make contact with the lamps. (03/12/2010) -
perfect for old-fashioned lights My purchases aren't going near heat lamps - but with some salvaged metal shades I can have properly old-fashioned looking pendant lamps in my kitchen. Way better quality than more costly "repro" stuff from the mainstream! (14/10/2010) -
