Secure the top and bottom nuts with a drop of nail varnish, locktite or superglue to stop the chickens undoing them.

  Good Product  I had one of these already, I like how you can adjust the height to suit different types of feed,and all feed flows to the bottom nicely. It's a shame when I ordered another one, I was sent an alternative that although feels much sturdier is nowhere near as good   (09/11/2011) -

    Solid and easy to clean but not so easy to get the dispensing right. Managed to loose the wing nut thingy on the top somehow so now its just a big donut tray.   (31/12/2009) -

  OK but problems with spring loaded dispenser  Basic design ok but easy to lose washers/nuts which hold dispenser in place. Loss of wingnut renders feeder useless unless another can be found. Ok for those with stocks of a variety of sizes. Less easy for those of us who have to travel to B/Q with bits of feeder in hand. EAsy to clean   (30/12/2009) -
