update months on changed to a large plastic feeder with rain hat for outdoors, have now purchased the stand and rain guard for this feeder and reverted back to it, food stays dry 99.9% of the time even with the valleys weather, have had no injuries or problems with any birds, and they form a huge scrum in the morn Nigel - Neath
Instructions Looks a good bit of kit but have not tried it out yet. Just had to put my thinking cap on and apply a lot of common sense to assemble it. Why is that nearly everybody has mentioned the instructions but you have not learnt from it ?????? Trev - Suffolk

excellent with no mess have this feeder with the optional plastic feeder ring in the bottom, have hung it at chest height for my birds (inside), using farmgate layer pellets have it set at 2nd hole height and birds feed easily and I get no food thrown on the floor atall - just make sure you hang it from something strong nigel - seven sisters, neath
Sharp edges cut The first feeder got dented in transit. Replacement arrived next day. No instuctions about putting the metal bars in and I cut my finger quite badly trying to push the top one into the slots. The cockerel didn't have much room to feed and cut himself on the bottom spokes showing through slots. Lynda O'Briane - Cheshire
Looks Nice Had to raise the outer cover to allow feed to fall out into bottom tray. No Screw with feeder supplied. Rain Guard does it's job. Maybe same design, but with a handle ontop, saves wallking to feeder each time. -
