Brilliant little drinker for quail chicks This drinker is just right for tiny quail chicks in the first couple of weeks. The water runs easily, but the lip is so small there's no danger of the chicks falling in. There is a larger 0.5 litre available in the same pattern - get both sothe larger one will follow on from this one as they grow. Virginia - Hampshire
Sorted Good fit between base and body. Easy to refill. I drilled out a hole in the top and fitted an eye to suspend it so the chicks don't kick shavings into the water. Now even better! (Make sure the modification is air tight :-) or gravity will do its job. -

Really secure fit to the base. This drinker is much better than the ones that invert onto a dish as the white part grips really tightly to the green part so you don't end up spilling water into the brooder! Great for chicks as they don't sit in the trough and poo in it! -
