The covered roof and small mesh follow DEFRA bird flu biosecurity guidlines to prevent contact with wild birds

Based on our popular "large house and run" we are able to offer a run only option . Prices for a basic 9'x6' run start from £540

If need we can adapt panels to connect to your existing housing.

The run panels are constructed from 63x38mm pressure treated timber covered with 1"x1/2" weld mesh. Height at the eaves is 5'3". Each panel measure 5'x3' so, although built of much larger timber than most other runs, can easily be carried by one person. We feel this is much more convient than manouving large panels through gates etc. The modular design also permits the door and the pop hole to be position in the best place for you, not where the designer has decided.

Basic DIY skills and an electic drill/driver should see this assembled in around 3 hours by 1 person although we will be happy to assemble it for you.

 

The roof is corroline and available in a choice of colours.

Options:

Choice of 2 widths, 6' or 9'

Additional panels can be added to extend the run

A pop hole can be fitted in one or more panels to allow the hens access to the garden or connect to an exist coop etc.

To make this more fox proof we can supply a heavy duty mesh base or a mesh skirt.

Choice of roof colour (Green, Black or Red )

Houses can be paid for in full online or, if you prefer, you can pay 20% deposit with the balance due on completion. Please contact us to arrange this. Most of our houses are based on designs we've made for our own chickens. Our houses are all hand built to order by local craftspeople. This means, although we can't ship immediatley, we can include minor modifications and the option of having most houses finished in a range of colours.

With the exception of the large house and run all our houses are shipped ready assembled so they are ready to be used. If you require any house to be flat pack this can be arranged.
