Electric Fence Energisers
What does an electric fence energiser do?An electric fence energiser converts either battery or mains power into an effective detterent against predators. It generators a series of regular, high voltage pulses that travel along the hot wire in your electric fence ready to vap any animal that touches it. These pulses are frequent enough that you can't touch the hotwire on the fence without reciving a shock but also spaced enough that the natural reflex of jumping away still occurs (if it was a high, continuious voltage this reflex action might be supressed). It also contains safety sensors that will detect in an animal is trapped and gradually reduce the power to limit the amount of injury caused. |
