These lamps need a minimum height of 90cm above the animal being heated to operate safely. We've finally found a manufacturer who's designed a solution to overheating lamp holders in heat lamps. These heat lamps are fitted with cooling fins to reduce the lamp holder temperature and extend the life of the fitting .
These lamps are ideal for whelping a litter of pups, raising chicks or for any other time animals require extra heat.
When not in use these lamps can be packed away, 10 lamps need less than 50x30x30cm of storage space - about the same space as 3 of our standard lamps.

Great Product and Delivery Service Perfect for one of our rabbits who is very independent and wont come inside for the cold nights. She loves sitting under it. We have a tall and large hutch so product is a good 900mm away from her and we have made a notch in the top of hutch door out of reach so no poss of chewing cables. E Davies - Wirral
Good quality Although described as "small" is more than enough for a clutch of a dozen chicks. Half power switch is a good economy feature when lower lamp grill positioned about 30cm above ground level for June temperatures. Ian - Lincolnshire
