Harka-Mectin (ivermectin drops) 5ml For the treatment of lice,mites and internal parasites in cage and aviary birds. It has also been used successfully on large birds.
Harka-Mectin is a spot on treatment for internal and external
parasites of cage/aviary birds and homing, racing pigeons.
Dosage Instruction
Cage/aviary birds: 1 drop (100ug Ivermectin) per bird onto the skin,
under the feathers between the shoulders.
Pigeons: 2 Drops (200ug Ivermectin) per bird onto the skin, between
the shoulders. Use before the start of the racing season.
This veterinary medicine is marketed in accordance with the Small Animal Exemption Scheme which covers small domestic pets not intended for food use.
As such we are unable to advise on it's use for other animals such as chickens as we don't hold the relevant qualification to prescribe medicine for animals. To do so would be a breach of VMD rules. We advise seeking advise from a qualified vet before using it on poultry.

ivermectin this product was received very quickly and has made a significant improvement in my hen gouldian finch. as the ivermectin was stronger than most other products advertised, i diluted it before administering to the finch. john peterson - bournemouth

Great product and excellent service again. Harkamectin (ivermectin)Drops seem to have done the trick and got rid of the mites on my chickens by putting 2 drops on the back of the neck 1 time per week for 3 weeks. Bought Harkamectin to treat scaly leg in chickens Had a couple of new girls with really bad scaly leg. Used 2 drops per bird on the back of the neck once a week for 3 weeks with excellent results. got rid of those lice!!!! excellent product although not licensed for the use on hens we used it on our 3 ladies as they had lice and scaly legs (ex battery hens) Didnt eat the eggs for 7 days after but now they are lice free and the scaly legs are loads better. they seem alot more active as well mandy - nottingham
Harkamectin Wonderful stuff Used this for 4 weeks on one hen badly infested with Northern Foul Mite. All other attempts, over many months, had failed to clear them. Ivermectin was recommended to me by a vet friend. It is excellent. Chicken is now happy and healthy again. Would definitely use the product again. -
Harkamectin I Bought this product as in the past our vet had prescribed Ivermecting to treat scaly leg on our hens. 2 Drops on the back of their necks, dose repeated two weeks later, treated every 4 or 5 months has kept our few hens free of mites or lice in their feathers.
